Update – Warhammer 3 Immortal Empiresįinally, after months of waiting, Warhammer 3 Immortal Empires has now been revealed. We may find these spots populated down the line as more factions get released as DLC. Although these are present in the game world, the developers are currently planning on building up existing factions for now. Look at the lower right land masses and you’ll notice two land masses bereft of territories (Khuresh and Ind). This allows factions that are too far apart to either trade or make war with each other without having to deal with making a trip to the far side of the map. When a faction goes to a certain point in the sea, they disappear for some time and reappear at a certain points in the map. Think of it as the sea routes in Empire: Total War. Sea Lanes are means for factions to make use of the seas to meet and battle with far-flung factions. For now, let’s just enjoy the map in its entirety and wait for the mode’s release. Creative Assembly may take time to tweak it to a better experience in the future. Note that the numbers mentioned above may change as the game mode is set to launch initially as a beta. With 554 settlments, 278 starting factions, and a grand total of 86 Legendary Lords, Warhammer 3’s Immortal Empires map sounds like the dream that we’ve always imagined.
